Class 12 GPA Calculator Tool Nepal - 2080
If you get 65 out of 75 in Nepali's theory and get 25 out of 25 in Nepali's Practical exam, you get 65+25 =90, which is A+ right?
Wrong ! This is not the method of GPA caluclation anymore. Calculating GPA of NEB board exams, of Class 11 and Class 12 has changed significantly. Credit hour system has been introduced where you need to do long hour calculations. This has arised a major confusion among the students.
This is the reason why I created this online tool. I have named it " Class 12 GPA Calculator Nepal" and it can do all the tedious and confusing calculation inside and give you the final grade in less than a second. You can estimate your own grades on the basis of your performance in the exam and make your future plans accordingly.
For example, here is the table for calculating your theory based GPA of subjects with 75 full marks!
Marks | GPA |
---|---|
67.5 to 75 | 4 |
60 to 67.5 | 3.6 |
52.5 to 60 | 3.2 |
45 to 52.5 | 2.8 |
37.5 to 45 | 2.4 |
30 to 37.5 | 2.0 |
26.25 to 30 | 1.6 |
Below 26.25 | NG |
The pass marks of most subjects except computer is 26.25. It means that if you get below 26.25, which is 35% minimum threshold, you will be non-graded. Even failing in single subject is subjected to re-exam. But the good thing is, you can give the re exam of the subjects only which you have failed ! You do not have to wait next year to give the same exam.
Enter the GPA of only those subjects that you have given the exam!
Subject | Theory Marks | Internal Marks |
---|---|---|
Nepali | ||
English | ||
Maths (Sci/Mgmt) | ||
Account/Physics | ||
Economics/Chemistry | ||
Social/Biology | ||
Computer |
Your GPA is:
Note : If you get less than 35% ie. less than 26.25 out of 75 full marks in a single subject, you will get NG in your marksheet. It means "Non Graded" and you have to give a re-exam for that subject.
Formula to Calculate the GPA
The credit hour system is a way of calculating GPA that takes into account the amount of work that is required for each subject. For example, a subject with a credit hour of 5 is considered to be more demanding than a subject with a credit hour of 3. The GPA is then calculated by dividing the total number of points earned by the total number of credit hours.
The credit hour system can be confusing for students because it is not always clear how many credit hours each subject is worth. The NEB has published a list of credit hours for each subject, but this list can be difficult to find and understand.
